To healthcare practitioners, your safety is their priority. For this reason, you will find that whilst for the public, some restrictions have eased, in healthcare settings they have not eased their cross infection procedures. This is in order to keep you and healthcare staff as safe as possible.
We are responding to this by continuing to pay back the PPE costs associated with treatment covered by your plan, carried out under your plan’s existing benefit limits when you make a claim. You don’t even need to provide a receipt with the PPE charge itemised, as we know that not all practitioners are able to do this. We do of course, still need to have a receipt provided for the treatment with the PPE included.
Getting seen by a healthcare professional is so important and we want to make sure your claiming experience is as easy as it can be.
As the regulations currently stand, most healthcare providers remain open for appointments.
Please contact your chosen provider as normal and they will be able to advise you.
