At Simplyhealth we take our responsibility as a resilient business seriously. For many years now we have been working behind the scenes to ensure that in the event of an incident, like the Coronavirus outbreak, we’re able to continue to deliver services to our customers. In doing so, the safety, security and wellbeing of our colleagues will always be our number one priority. Critical activities, such as paying out claims, will be continued using the wider resources of Simplyhealth, such as multi-skilled colleagues and offices in other locations, where possible.
The Simplyhealth hospital benefit is a single cash amount that is payable to the plan holder if they need to be admitted to hospital as a day or overnight patient. It does not cover them for treatment that was carried out, it does not matter what they were admitted to hospital for.

We're working hard to make sure we are there for all our customers and to continue to offer you the best service possible. You will be reassured to know that we have plans in place to keep any service disruption to a minimum. Please be aware however that we’re currently unable to receive telephone calls. If you call, you'll be able to leave us a voicemail, but we will be prioritising call backs to our most vulnerable customers.
Instead of calling, you can easily get in touch with us via email including your full name, date of birth and full postal address at [email protected] (for our corporate dental plans) or [email protected] (for our corporate healthcare plans).
Many dental practices are now largely closed, though some offering emergency medical appointments. Please advise your employees to contact their own dental practice if they need treatment.
During these uncertain times Simplyhealth is very aware of the importance of the virtual clinical services available to our customers, in particular our 24/7 GP and our EAP services.
As to be expected, these services are experiencing an increase in demand in their service and Simplyhealth is in daily contact with our providers to ensure that the service is maintained and delivered to the high clinical standard expected for our customers.
Our providers all have well established business continuity plans and we have received assurance that they have the functionality and capacity to continue to deliver these services and we will continue to receive this assurance on a daily basis.
During this extended period of uncertainty we ask for our customers understanding that some services may need to be adapted, for example face to face counselling may be delivered via video consultations.
