We stand for improving health outcomes

We’re working to create positive social and health impacts, helping our customers, communities and colleagues to thrive.

We've never answered to shareholders. Instead, we strive to make meaningful profit that can be reinvested to help our customers and clients access the healthcare they need while supporting our communities.

Corporate giving

We are committed to delivering a minimum of £1 million to charities or community causes every year.

Our corporate giving framework guides ‘who’ and ‘how’ we support others and use our funds to create maximum value.

We have:

  • Strategic charity partners – focused on addressing health inequalities across the UK through two co-created social impact programmes

  • Health access charity partners – UK national health charities who help to improve access to healthcare and vital services

  • ‘Always on’ health support – focused on our local communities and our vulnerable customers

Communities matter

As a socially conscious organisation, we’re committed to supporting local and national charities across the UK and further afield.

Improving access to healthcare for all can be a big gesture or a small offer of help through volunteering.

Alongside our Corporate Giving Framework, we also encourage our colleagues to volunteer for 3 days per year at any charity, or community group of their choice.

We’re constantly looking for new ways to support our customers.

Making life easier with our Customer Financial Hardship Fund

In 2023, we introduced our new Customer Financial Hardship Fund to support customers who need extra help, to fun or access the healthcare they need.

We understand it can be hard to ask for help. By offering our support, we hope to remove any financial barriers to accessing healthcare.
