Simplyhealth shares Annual Reports, showcasing growth, impact and future vision
Our purpose is to improve access to healthcare for all in the UK and this is needed now more than ever. In 2024, we saw continued pressure across the NHS, with many people on waiting lists and an increasing number of employees on long term sick.
However, we have also seen a shift in attitudes of the general public, with more people seeking to understand their health and manage it.
Through our low-cost and easy to use healthcare cover, and dental payment plans, our customers receive support for everyday needs, like doctor’s appointments, eye care, physiotherapy, counselling, dental care and diagnostic scans – no matter their age, or pre-existing conditions.
We remain committed to simplifying healthcare and as a company limited by guarantee, we have no shareholders and re-invest our profits into our products and services, into positive charitable and community impacts and into reaching more people.
We have much to be proud of in 2024:
Achieved membership growth – a net increase of 29,700 members in 2024
Enhanced customer experience through the rollout of our new policy administration system - we ranked in the top 100 in KPMG’s UK Customer Experience report
Expanded range of products through new partnerships – including mental health support, diagnostic scans and dental hygiene
Improved claims processing times – more efficient processing means we can get money back to customers more quickly.
Developed a new whole of workforce plan – a product that will enable more businesses to support the health of all their employees
Continued our investment programme with £1.8m in Simplyhealth Ventures – investing in healthcare businesses aligned to Our Purpose
Honoured our charitable commitment – delivering £1.02 million to charities and community causes
Scaling up two strategic social impact programmes: BrightBites and Let’s Care Together, helping to address health inequalities across the UK. We also welcomed Wellbeing of Women, Endometriosis UK and Prevent Breast Cancer to Simplyhealth’s Women’s Health Charity Alliance.
Commenting on the positive outcomes, Paul Schreier Chief Executive Officer at Simplyhealth said:
