Simplyhealth and Personal Group expand partnership to bring healthcare services to Hapi
Simplyhealth and Personal Group expand partnership to improve healthcare access for over one million people, bringing Simplyhealth's healthcare services to Hapi and helping employers support a healthier, more engaged workforce.
Healthcare services and health cash plan provider Simplyhealth has expanded its strategic partnership with workforce benefits and insurance provider Personal Group Holdings Plc (AIM: PGH), creating the opportunity to improve access to healthcare and wellbeing support for more than one million more people across the UK.
The next phase of the partnership will see Simplyhealth's On Demand services integrated into Hapi, Personal Group's employee benefits platform, giving employees easier access to a wider range of clinically approved health and wellbeing services alongside their workplace benefits.
The expanded partnership has the potential to extend Simplyhealth's reach to over one million additional people, supporting its purpose of improving access to healthcare for all in the UK.
By combining Simplyhealth's healthcare services, health plans and wellbeing support with Personal Group's employee benefits and engagement capabilities, the two organisations aim to reduce barriers to support and help more people discover, access and engage with the services available to them.
Simplyhealth's On Demand services will be embedded within Hapi, providing employees with access to a range of discounted and self-pay health and wellbeing services, including physiotherapy, mental health support, women's and men's health services, nutrition support, diagnostic testing and neurodiversity assessments.
The agreement will also enable Simplyhealth to offer Hapi to its own clients, extending access to Personal Group's employee benefits and engagement technology to more employers and employees across the UK.
Paul Schreier, Chief Executive Officer at Simplyhealth, said:
People are more likely to engage with support when it's easy to find, easy to access and integrated into their everyday experience.
This partnership supports our purpose to improve access to healthcare and wellbeing for everyone. By bringing our services to Hapi, we have the opportunity to reach over one million additional people, helping more employees access the support they need.
For more than 150 years, Simplyhealth has been driven by that purpose, and partnerships like this are an important way we bring it to life today.
Paula Constant, Chief Executive Officer of Personal Group, said:
Our partnership with Simplyhealth is built around a shared belief that good health and wellbeing support should be accessible to everyone, whatever their role or where they work.
Bringing Simplyhealth's On Demand services into Hapi is an important next step. It means we can give employers a broader range of health and wellbeing support through an experience their employees already know and use, while continuing to combine digital access with the face-to-face engagement that helps people understand what's available to them.
With partnerships forming an important part of our growth strategy, we're excited about the opportunity for Simplyhealth to take Hapi to its clients, helping us reach more employers and ultimately more people across the UK.
The expanded partnership builds on the strategic agreement announced in March 2026, which brought together Simplyhealth's health plans and healthcare services with Personal Group's financial protection products and employee engagement expertise, creating a broader approach to employee health, wellbeing and financial resilience.
Both organisations will continue to develop their joint proposition, helping employers provide practical, accessible support for employees across different roles, locations and working patterns.
