Simplyhealth recertified as a B Corporation
Leading health plan and healthcare services provider reaffirms its commitment to purpose-driven business
Published 26 November 2025
London, UK — 26 November 2025: Leading health plan and healthcare services provider Simplyhealth, together with its dental payment plan brand Denplan, has successfully recertified as a B Corporation (B Corp), improving its score from 91.9 to 108.4. Simplyhealth remains the first and only health plan provider in the UK to achieve B Corp certification.
Key achievements and improvements
As a B Corp, Simplyhealth is recognised for meeting the high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. Verified by the nonprofit B Lab, the certification reflects a commitment to using business as a force for good. It requires Simplyhealth and Denplan to legally embed stakeholder consideration into governance, ensuring decisions balance profit with purpose.
Since first certifying in 2022, Simplyhealth has improved across all five impact areas independently assessed by B Lab: Customers, Governance, Workers, Community and Environment. Progress includes customer outcomes through new engagement frameworks and innovative digital health solutions, the introduction of an ESG Committee and enhanced transparency through its Sustainability Report; expanded colleague support such as cost of living payments, wellbeing programmes, and career development initiatives; stronger data capture and improvement goals for diversity, inclusivity, and volunteering; delivery of ambitious environmental targets including zero waste to landfill and expanded GHG emissions reporting. Together, these achievements demonstrate Simplyhealth’s ongoing commitment to balancing profit with purpose and embedding positive impact into every part of its business. Recertification marks the next chapter in its journey to be a regenerative force for good – supporting healthier people, workplaces, and planet.
Commitment to purpose-driven business
Simplyhealth CEO Paul Schreier said:
Over the past three years, we’ve made meaningful progress in countless ways, and our stakeholders tell us they can see and feel the positive health impact we deliver every day. The B Lab team also recognised this during our recent recertification, where, after a rigorous assessment, we were thrilled to see our B Corp score rise from 91.9 to an outstanding 108.4.
We are immensely proud of this achievement, but more importantly, it reflects our ongoing journey of impact and improvement. This milestone is the result of the dedication, innovation, and investment of our teams across Simplyhealth and Denplan. Every day, our colleagues share inspiring stories of how we’re simplifying healthcare to meet the real challenges people face, and this certification reinforces that commitment and our positive impacts.
