This service is not for emergencies or urgent situations. If you, or a person you’re assisting, need immediate help, contact 999, NHS 111, or your local emergency services.

‘In-the-moment’ confidential support

Simplyhealth Health Plan and Simply Essentials members can access a personalised mental health support service delivered using a Stepped Care Model. This approach helps ensure you are guided to appropriate support based on your needs, starting with early, light-touch interventions and progressing to more structured support where clinically appropriate.

The service focuses on timely access to support, helping you address concerns early and explore suitable next steps.

Immediate emotional support and practical guidance are available through qualified clinicians at first point of contact, providing early intervention via single, in-the-moment support sessions.

Service features include:

With a Stepped Care Model, you don’t have to know what kind of help you need. You can access support 24/7 and speak to a qualified counsellor, who will help you find the most clinically appropriate support for you - whether that’s self-help tools, counselling, or specialist and urgent care if needed. Support can increase or decrease over time, and you’re always welcome to contact this service again whenever you need it.

Structured counselling

Where short-term therapy is deemed clinically appropriate by a counsellor, they will guide individuals through a brief assessment and support onward access to counselling sessions.
