How it works: At home test kits
Get your discounted test via the SimplyPlan app or log in to your Simplyhealth account to access. Choose from Randox Health’s range of home test kits to gain valuable insights into your health:
Complete a simple at-home test, by collecting a urine sample, swab, or blood sample via finger prick. Detailed instructions will be provided to assist you in collecting the sample.
Send your test back to Randox Health using the pre-paid label.
Receive accurate results quickly and the easy-to-interpret report will be emailed to you.

Book and attend the assessment of your choice at a clinic near you.
A blood and/or urine sample will be taken, along with any other measurements.

Who provides this service?
Simplyhealth has partnered with Randox, the largest healthcare diagnostics company from the UK and Ireland. As a member, you have access to 10 discounted at-home health test kits that cover a range of key health concerns.
How do I purchase an at-home test?
To order an at-home test kit, log into the SimplyPlan app or your online Simplyhealth portal and tap the ‘My Health’ tab. Select the tile for ‘At-home tests’, where you’ll then be taken to Randox Health’s website to see all the tests available, and complete your purchase.

How are the at-home samples taken?
Follow the instructions with your at-home test kit and activate your kit before sending your sample back. The kit will either require a urine sample or a blood sample via finger prick, and detailed instructions and guides will be provided to assist you in taking the sample.
There is also the choice of a premium sample collection, Tasso, with the General Health, Female Hormone and Male Hormone at-home test kits. With a collection pot attached, the Tasso device is pressed into the arm, and when tapped, draws blood quickly and painlessly. It can be a far more efficient and less painful way of collecting a sample.
How do I return my completed at-home test kit?
Once completed, return your at-home test using the pre-paid Royal Mail label provided. Only collect your sample Monday-Thursday.
When and how will I receive my at-home test kit results?
Once the lab receives your sample, they will begin to process it. Your results will be ready 2-3 days after arriving at the lab. The easy to interpret report will provide a breakdown of your results, what they mean and next steps. Reports will be emailed to the email address provided at the time of registration.
Can I claim back the costs of the at-home test kits?
No, at-home test kits cannot be claimed back under the ‘Health Assessment’ or ‘Diagnostics’ benefit pots.

How do I book an in-clinic test?
To book an in-clinic health check, log into the SimplyPlan app or your online Simplyhealth portal and tap the ‘My Health’ tab. Select the tile for ‘In-clinic tests’, where you’ll then be taken to Randox Health’s website to see all the tests available, and complete your booking

When and how will I receive my in-clinic test results?
Your samples will be sent for analysis and within 2-5 working days you will receive an email with your personalised report. The easy to interpret report will provide a breakdown of your results, what they mean and next steps. Reports will be emailed to the email address provided at the time of registration.
Can I claim back the costs of the in-clinic test?
Yes, you may be able to claim money back towards selected in-clinic assessments as part of your Simplyhealth plan. Please check your benefits and table of cover for the Health Assessment benefit in either the SimplyPlan app, or your online account. The in-clinic assessments that can be claimed back, under the Health Assessment benefit, are clearly labelled on the Randox webpage.
