Things you should know
You need to live in the UK and be aged between 18 and 79 to join
The cover under your plan will cease on the day you reach 85 or when certain benefits are paid
Children are covered for half the benefit amount of adults (except for the Accidental death where specific child limits apply and Section F of the table of cover)
Fractures - This benefit will be payable once only irrespective of the number of fractures at the time the bodily injury occurs, with the higher benefit amount being paid
Exclusions - there are a number of exclusions on the plan such as drink driving, motorcycling, certain hazardous sports and military duty. For full details of the exclusions please see section 6 of the policy terms and conditions
No benefit will be payable for permanent total disablement if you are aged 75 years or over and in paid employment, or 65 years or over if not in paid employment. If you are aged 65 or over, other benefits will be paid at 50% of the amount shown
in the table of cover (except section F, which will be paid in full)
You are not able to have more than ONE personal accident plan which is administered by FirstAssist Insurance Service
Sections A to E of the Simply Accident Plan are administered by FirstAssist Insurance Services, which is a trading style of Cigna Insurance Services (Europe) Limited, and underwritten by Cigna Europe Insurance Company S.A-N.V. Section F is
administered and underwritten by Simplyhealth.
