Change Your Details

If your contact details have changed, we'd appreciate you letting us know so we can update our records. Due to the Data Protection Act, we are only able to make changes to your own health plan.

The quickest way to do this is to log in to your online account. If you don't yet have an Online Self Service account, you can create one today by clicking this 'Register' link. Alternatively, you can give our Customer Services team a call and one of our advisors will be more than happy to update any of your details.
 
Changing your level of cover

Once you have taken out a plan with us you can choose to upgrade or downgrade your level of cover to make it work better for you*. You may also be able to add or remove dependants to provide cover for your loved ones as well.

If you decide to upgrade or downgrade your level of cover you must then stay at the new level for 12 months before upgrading or downgrading again*.

Add or remove a dependant

Once you have taken out a plan with us you may be able to choose to add or remove dependants.

Adding a child dependant

If your plan allows you to, you could cover up to four children under the age of 18. This can differ depending on your plan so it is important to check your terms and conditions. When each child turns 18 they can no longer be covered under your plan*. To continue cover they can take out their own adult plan.

Adding an adult dependant

Some Simplyhealth plans will allow you to add a resident partner to your plan for an additional monthly premium. You will need to check your benefit table to see if your plan allows this.

You can remove dependants from your plan at any time unless specified in your policy document. All our policies are different and it is important that you refer to your policy document for more information on your policy and what is and isn't covered.

*Some plans have special allowances and also restrictions on upgrades and dependants. If your health cover is provided through your employer or other body, then you may only be able to make amendments to your plan within a specific window. Please refer to your policy documents for details.
