Glasgow Climbing Center 

The Glasgow Climbing Centre, based in Ibrox, has been commended for demonstrating its commitment to the health and wellbeing of its employees by receiving a Simplyhealth Healthy Workplace award.

Provided by healthcare provider Simplyhealth, the Healthy Workplace awards recognise the contribution that UK organisations, in both the private and public sector, make to the welfare of employees. Winners of the award provide employees with a range of initiatives and benefits that help to keep their workforce motivated and healthy.

Rob Watts, Centre Manager at The Glasgow Climbing Centre comments: "As a company running a sporting venue, it's great to be recognised by this award for the support we offer our staff to keep active, both at our Climbing Wall, and through our cycling to work facilities. Our use of the Ride to Work scheme has brought more staff to work on bikes, and less in cars, even with Glasgow's notorious weather!"

We are delighted to announce that Moat Homes Ltd based in Dartford, has won a healthy workplace award.

Cartrefi Cymunedol Gwynedd

A Gwynedd housing association has been commended for demonstrating its commitment to the health and wellbeing of its employees by receiving a Simplyhealth Healthy Workplace award.
 
Cartrefi Cymunedol Gwynedd was recognised for providing employees with a range of initiatives and benefits that help to keep staff motivated and healthy.  The Healthy Workplace awards recognise the contribution that UK organisations, in both the private and public sector, make to the welfare of employees.

Ffrancon Williams, CCG Chief Executive said: "This is really good news for us. Our human resources team have been working hard to provide different schemes which promote a healthy workplace. They include the Bike to Work scheme, monthly 'fruit' Mondays as well as a healthcare benefit scheme and various counselling services.
