In addition, you can currently claim back PPE costs charged by your healthcare provider in relation to any visit or treatment covered by your plan up to annual limits.

Things we'd like you to know

Pre-existing conditions are covered at no extra cost

If you already need glasses or have been visiting a practitioner, such as a physiotherapist for a bad back, you can claim money back (up to annual benefit limits), for any related costs incurred after your joining date.

No medical referrals or assessments needed

You do not need to get a referral from your GP to book your appointments, or a medical assessment to join. You just need to choose a registered practitioner and book an appointment directly with them.

No excesses to pay

With a Simplyhealth Plan, you don't pay any excesses. We will pay you money back on the teatments and services covered by your plan, up to the annual limits.

What's an itemised receipt?

To make a claim on your Simplyhealth Plan you will need to request an itemised receipt which clearly shows:

  • the name of the patient
  • the details of the practitioner or establishment
  • the service or treatment that they have provided
  • the date of the service or treatment
  • the amount paid, itemised to show the cost of each individual treatment

What should I do if I need to cancel?

If you need to cancel your policy, just call the Customer Options team on 0370 908 3304, or complete the online form within the contact us section and someone will give you a call back.
