If you are experiencing symptoms like a low mood or hot flushes, but are unsure whether it's the menopause, you can speak to a GP via our 24/7 video GP service. You can also access our 24/7 advice and counselling services for emotional support whenever you may need it.

"I live in England and I thought my HRT prescription charge would be free, and it wasn’t."

You can claim money back towards prescription charges to help with the costs of medications like HRT and others that may be prescribed to you following a diagnosis of menopause.

"I’m 52 and worried about Osteoporosis."

You can claim back towards the costs of appointments with a Physiotherapist who can offer advice on bone density issues such as osteopenia and osteoporosis and tailor exercises to help improve bone density.

You can use your plan to claim back towards the costs of reflexology and acupuncture which can help to relax muscles, soothe aches and leave you feeling more calm.

Emotional support during pregnancy and early motherhood

Women can experience a range of emotions both during and after pregnancy. With your health plan, you have access to a 24/7 counselling and advice helpline to provide in the moment emotional support, as well as legal and financial advice to help you through any challenges you may be facing.

"My feet hurt and are getting very swollen now I’m in my third trimester."

Claim back towards the costs of seeing a Chiropodist or Podiatrist who can help with foot care, advice on footwear and other foot issues.

"After having my baby I’m experiencing some back pain."

Back pain is common during and after pregnancy. You can claim back towards  the costs of seeing a Chiropractor, Osteopath or Physiotherapist, all of whom can offer advice and help ease your pain.

"My bladder is much weaker since I had a baby and I keep leaking, it’s affecting my confidence."

Restoring and improving core and pelvic strength is important after giving birth and you can claim back towards the costs of seeing Physiotherapists who specialise in women's health. 

"I could do with some postnatal support with breast feeding my baby."

You can claim your new child payment through your plan, which can help towards postnatal classes which offer help and community support.
