The British Healthcare Association (BHCA) is the recognised trade body for the majority of the UK’s leading health cash plan providers, some of which also provide managed health care, convalescence, alternative therapies and ancillary benefits.
Most of these organisations are run on a not for profit basis, or are run according to mutual principles and do not have shareholders to answer to. This means they can focus on delivering the best they can for their customers.
Simplyhealth (and previously its cash plan divisions HSA, LHF and HealthSure) has been a longstanding member of the BHCA and has a representative on the Executive Committee.
