As a baby, Jena had to wear a helmet for 23 hours a day to correct a condition called Deformational Plagiocephaly, the flattening of the back of her skull. Unfortunately, she also suffered from Torticollis, a condition that meant she leant her head to one side.
Her HealthSure Healthplan contributed towards the cost of the helmet, and physiotherapy corrected her neck condition. As you can see, she's now a healthy, happy little girl. |
